How to fight Inflammation and the best foods to eat. Why Is it so Important? This is your body’s natural response to fight off bacteria and viruses. The most common type is Acute or short-term. In the acute stage, white blood cells fight Inflammation to help with brief illnesses.

The chronic step is long-term and can last for months or years. The chronic phase is typical for the top diseases in America. Unfortunately, we have more of these diseases than in other countries. Yet, the foods we eat can help us reverse the pain we may feel. This post will provide insight into the best foods to eat to fight Inflammation.

How To Fight Inflammation In The Body

I read a book that helped me learn how to fight Inflammation. The book is “How Not To Die” by Micheal Greger. Micheal Greger is a well-known plant-based research doctor. It had precise data from experiments on the foods we eat.

The book “How Not To Die” By Micheal Greger included experiments that showed data on how healthy foods affect our bodies. The book also highlighted how they could fight Inflammation. The book helped me understand that I didn’t know what eating healthy was or how a healthy meal should look.

Dr. Greger believes in a plant-based lifestyle. If you want to learn more about this, I wrote a post called “How A Vegan Diet Helped Me Have A Better Diet.” This article will give you more insight.

In the next paragraph, I will mention a few diseases caused by chronic conditions. The most common diseases are Cancer, Heart, Diabetes, Asthma, and Alzheimer’s. There are a few ways to manage Inflammation and keep it under control. We can maintain it by working on our weight, staying physical, lowering stress, and getting proper vitamins.

One common clue is swollen joints or joint pain. You may be having symptoms of Inflammation. Don’t worry; this blog is all about self-improvement. I write these articles to help us live better. We are here to help solve problems so we can grow together.

Ways To Fight Inflammation

How To Avoid Inflammation In The Body

The first way to avoid Inflammation is to reduce processed foods. The ingredients often sound complex. It is impossible to keep up with them. You want to ensure you eat foods as close to their natural form as possible. It is best to make things from fresh ingredients at home.

To reduce Inflammation, most professionals recommend an anti-inflammatory diet. Fried foods can also irritate the body further.

A good example is french fries. I have yet to meet one person who doesn’t eat French fries. It’s everyone’s favorite fast food snack. The other foods that cause Inflammation are margarine, lard, and butter. In these cases, it is best to cook with olive oil.

Red meats also cause Inflammation. Red meat is another tempting food that is hard to overlook. Most people love a good burger or steak. Finally, soda and sugar-sweetened tea can cause Inflammation.

Sweet tea reminds me of living in the South. Here we drink sweet tea and lots of it. It’s almost unheard of for a restaurant not to offer sweet tea in the southern United States. Foods That Fight Inflammation

One of the foods you want to incorporate into your diet is vegetables. Vegetables help protect our white blood cells and help lower chronic issues. Dark leafy greens are also helpful in your diet. Leafy greens are foods such as kale, spinach, and lettuce. Vegetables can fight Inflammation and reverse the damage we may cause to our bodies.

Leafy green vegetables can reduce chronic Inflammation and help with these diseases. Vegetables are also suitable for cleaning and reducing clogs in our arteries. Eating this food is good for cleaning our body and balancing the bad with the good.

Fruit is also essential in building your immune system. It provides the immune boost needed to make your white blood cells healthy. Berries are an excellent fruit to have around the house. They are full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

Strawberries reduce the risk of heart disease in adults with excess weight. Grapes are also known to reduce heart disease. Grapes contain resveratrol, which helps lower and fight Inflammation. Resveratrol is also why we have heard that red wine is good for you.

Fighting Inflammation For The Future

We have all heard the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Someone formed this phrase from the truth. Apples are suitable for your gut health or microbiome. When your gut is healthy, your body can process the good foods you need for nutrients.

Other Foods you want to eat on this list are Fish, Olive oil, Nuts, and Tomatoes. These foods will work wonders for your body. These foods also have many healing properties to help fight off diseases.

You will feel better and eat better. Sometimes, we indulge in foods that don’t love us back or have repercussions the next day. No matter what you choose, remember to make your food colorful. A colorful plate means you are getting variety, which ensures you get lots of nutrients.

I hope I have provided more insight into how to fight Inflammation. Now, we can be more mindful of what we eat. The Bible says in Ecclesiastics 3:13, “That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.”

May we know what it’s like to work hard and nourish our bodies for the work ahead? With the right foods, we can eat without regret for how they make us feel afterward. Fueling our bodies and being good stewards of what we eat will help us enjoy our lives further.
